London Aikikai - Traditional Aikido in London
Welcome to Aikido classes for children and young people at London Aikikai.
Enrolment
You can enrol and begin training on the same day - at any time during the term. Come and see us at The Maida Centre before class (see schedule below) or contact us by email or phone.
Age Groups
Young people from 5 to 15 years. Older people aged 16 and 17 can join our classes for adults. Four year olds find it difficult to concentrate but we are willing to consider them if the child is particularly mature.
Timetable (Schedule)
Half Terms Closing: 12-19 February
Wednesdays:
5pm-5:55pm 5-8 year olds
6pm-6:55pm 9-15 year olds
Fridays: 6pm-6:55pm 5-9 year olds - No class Friday 10 February
Saturdays: 12pm-12:55pm 10-15 year olds - No class Saturday 11 February
2012 Spring: 4 January - 11 February, 20 February - 31 March
2012 Summer: 16 April - 2 June, 12 June - 21 July
Fees
Annual membership: £15 (includes insurance)
Training fee £5 per class, after 2 classes we ask that you pay for the remainder of the term based on £5 per class.
Children may stop training at any time and get a refund for the remainder of fees paid. If we have to cancel any classes due to unforeseen circumstances then we will give a refund for these classes.
